GABWA is an inspirational networking platform for professional women in Australia, where you can connect with members, assist others in their journey and broaden your horizon.

GABWA stands for the German-Australian Business Women Alliance, a national organisation dedicated to promoting the success of German and German-speaking women in Australia. Our organisation focuses on connecting women of any age, providing resources and support, and helping them achieve their career goals while making a positive impact in their communities.

Since its inception in 2015 in Sydney and Melbourne, GABWA has expanded across Australia, with chapters now in Brisbane (2017), Hobart (2022), and Perth (2025), along with a total of 12 State Ambassadors. This year marks GABWA’s 10th anniversary, a milestone that also sees us officially becoming a Not-for-Profit organisation. To celebrate, we’ve been invited to visit the German Embassy in Canberra, where our entire team will gather for the first time for a special visit.
